Jack von Nicholson is a very handsome 18 month old German Shepherd.
Per his foster family:
Jack is probably around 70 pounds, so he's a good-sized guy. Jack is very much a gentleman with everyone he meets. He can be a little shy when he meets people and will not jump about, but stand near and look at you with his soulful eyes until you give him a sign that his affection is wanted. Once he knows you're willing, he'll get closer and lean his head right into you for scratches and hugs and kisses. Everyone he meets comments on how sweet he is! Jack loves all of his foster brothers and sisters, even the two chihuahuas! But he's especially fond of his foster brother, another Shepherd, and they love to wrestle and then sleep together when they've had enough. You can tell that he really enjoys having canine buddies and would really love a home with another dog. Jack also loves his human foster siblings, too and sleeps cuddled up with is foster sister at night. He can be a real snuggler! Jack is a pleasure to walk on a leash. He pulls a little sometimes, but with a quick correction, he's right back at your side matching your pace easily. He will react to other barking dogs if he's on a leash, but with some firm correction, he moves right along. Jack's a dream in the car and loves to run errands with his foster mom. When he's not playing with his foster brother, he's glued to his foster mom's side. Since Jack doesn't do so well when he's left alone for long stretches of time, and since he is such a 'velcro dog' (he wants to be stuck to your side!), we would love to see him in a home where he has lots of loving company so that he can really thrive.
